"Prakriti and Purusha, know both of these to be beginningless, and know all modifications such as likes, dislikes etc and all objects constituted of 3 Gunas as born of Prakriti." (Chap 13 - verse 19)

Krishna says, "The 3 Gunas - SATTVA, RAJAS, TAMAS - is the most wonderful Maya of mine."
(Chap 7 - verse 14)
