(KARMAYOGA) Do actions bind us, thereby leading to goodness or sin?

However, there are several places where Krishna talks about liberating ourselves from the results of the actions we do. This clearly means that actions bind us because its consequences are somewhere connected to our actions.
In the Ishwarya Upanishad, there is a verse
One must desire to live even a hundred years by doing prescribed karma only. Thus is it right for you, not otherwise; [if this is done, then] sin will not bind the human.

It means that there are actions that do not bind also and which is what Krishna explains very beautifully.
